JUST TWO COATS OF FINISH MAKES A HUGE DIFFERENCE

FINALLY! the French Polish process begins.  I have only made two applications on these ukes, but wow does the Koa pop.  This will go on for ten days or a couple of weeks and by that time these babies will really glow.  I am very pleased with how the Master grade Koa backs and sides are looking on the two cedar tops.  and the contrasts of the Blonde are now revealing themselves with the Blackwood bindings showing as I had hoped they would.
Below are a few pictures I snapped this afternoon.

the bridges and saddles are not glued on yet, I just set them in place to get a little dress rehearsal.

Thanks Walker. I am eager to see your work that you did at the Luthier school. Bring it along and I will post a few photos on the blog.
