I was greeted this morning with another big bug outside our door. This one was very green and very streamlined. He was about 3 inches long
An Excellent docent/guide, took us on a tour of historic LaHaina a few days ago. We gained a lot of knowledge about pre-contact LaHaina which was the royal city in ancient times. The tour ended at a city park that is now a baseball field but is really the site of an ancient pond filled with gravel in modern times. On an island in the pond was the home of the Hawaiian royalty. They are working hard on an intriguing project to restore the pond and the royal houses. Here is our guide at the site.
