ON THE FIRST SATURDAY of every month the Bellingham Ukulele Group (BUG) meets for a rollicking day of song and music. This day was more rollicking than most as 52 Ukesters showed up at St. James Presbyterian Church for the first ever "open mike" meeting where anyone was encouraged to perform. There were some amazing performaances. I vidio-taped the whole affair and after some editing I may put some of the better acts on the blog. Here are a few photos of the scene.
