This is an especially nice sounding uke, The combination of Blackwood and Western Red Cedar appears to sound just as good as Koa and Cedar, but what really surprised me about all the concerts in this recent build. They have big time punch and volume. Concerts are serious instruments I am now convinced. Although I admit to liking the size and feel of a tenor better, these ukes have a lot of appeal. I think the new owner is going to really enjoy this uke.
