First the two pieces of Redwood are glued together and cut into the rough shape.  Then clamped into this jig to cut the rosette channel.

A quick pass with the router and the channel is cut,  Got two of these done today, the third top is still in the press as the glue sets up.  It will get done in the morning.

Got a start on making the 36 tone bars I will need for this project.  12 tone bars for each uke are cut to length and ready to whittle.

I also finished the bridges for the current build.  Shaped and sanded and the first coat of French Polish on them.

Much of the shaping is done with this dandy scraper.
