"In flanders field the poppies blow, between the crosses, row on row"
This poignant poem comes to mind each year as the poppie seeds collected so many years ago in our travels in France, bloom again in our garden.  For 14 years we piloted our old dutch barge along the rivers and canals of
Europe.  We gathered wild poppie seeds from the French countryside and brought them home.  Every spring they bloom to remind us of those adventurous years.

Back in the workshop,  It was time to attach the back to Holey Moley.  These large rubber bands provide plenty of clamping pressure.

And here is the result.  The back attached and the preliminary sanding done.  I think it is going to look interesting.  who knows what it will sound like.  The first Kasha Pinecone.

I’ll tell ya what it’s going to sound like. People are gonna say “Holey Moley!” It’ll be your most memorable uke—to date.
