I HAVE BEEN BLOGGING about building concerts, seeing the great Jake, about most everything but the tenors , one of which you have ordered. Well rest assured that I am deep into the French Polish process. I have just about build up a thick enough coating to do the final level sanding. This is done with fine wet and dry paper lubricoated with water and just a drop of detergent. The object is to smooth the shellac coat, When that is done and dried then a couple more applications of the same mix of shellac and alcohol I have been using, then a couple of coats of shellac mixture just half that heavy. This really brings out the shine, Then the bridge, the tuners, the strings and the moment of truth when we learn what they sound like. You are very close. Here are some pictures of the uke I think you should choose.
