MY GRANDSON EVAN CHRISTIE and I were so pleased with our soprano pinecone design that we felt we should make it in larger numbers than I could produce. We were introduced to a long time Mexican luthier who has worked for Taylor Guitars for more than 20 years. At his home in Tijuana he has his own workshop where he keeps four or five of his countrymen busy making classical guitars and mandolins. We convinced Jesus to make Pinecones for us. We shipped him the woods from the Pacific Northwest and with typical Mexican craftsmanship he has produced a number of really nice soprano pinecones. They are marketed by my grandson through his website
houseandmill.com. Take a look, you will see the excellent little instruments offered at a little lower price than the ones that I make but every bit as good. Just google houseandmill and see what he has for you.
