Here you see the relieved traveler standing in the lobby of the Cork Airport Hotel having driven this morning from Skibbereen, turned in his rental car, and printed his boarding pass for tomorrow morning's flight to Gatwick/London. I say relieved because this first step in the return home is behind me and I have survived driving on the left side of the road on some incredibly narrow roads, found my way back to the airport and returned the car undamaged to Dooley Auto Rentals. Now a bit of reading and perhaps writing, a drink or two in the restaurant/bar of this quite nice modern hotel and I will be off in the morning to England. This has been a grand adventure, but I am very pleased to be homeward bound.
