Since I cannot be in the workshop and watch the game I have moved a bit of the workshop to the living room. It is time for the fine work on these tenor necks. I want them all to feel as good as my current favorite uke, the Blonde #36 so I am taking measurements so that I can copy #36 closely.

The "blonde" at the top of the picture has what I consider ideal neck dimensions. I am hoping to get the same feel on the other tenors and this electronic "forceps" measuring device gives me accurate thickness readings at various frets up the neck. You can get one of these handy tools at Grizzley for just over twenty bucks.
