I am finally seeing the end. These bodies are done, except for a few little touch up spots. Next comes the fretboards and when they are attached, the final shaping of the neck, the adding of the peg head plate and then the final sanding before the French Polishing begins. Whew! four tenors at the same time is a bit of a push.
Here they are laid on on the living room floor. I brought them upstairs to list the little details I need to tend to before the bodies are indeed finished. Looks like a long list but just little touch up items that will take me about three hours to finish. I am very pleased with this quartet. I think they will be good ones.
Here they are in side view. The three on the left are East Indian Rosewood. The one on the right is Cocobolo. I am looking forward to getting the finish on them. That is when the beauty of the wood really jumps.
