Now the fun part, the finishing. First three coats of "spit"coat applying a base of shellac by rubbing on with a rag. Then with the "munica" and lots of elbow grease the work begins. With each successive application the figure gets richer and more evident, the luster deepens, the glow begins. I really enjoy this part of a build because the beauty of the wood becomes evident. This picture shows the ukes with just the base coats and one round with the munica. Fifteen or twenty more and they will be rich, lustrous and very beautiful. Monica, you have first choice to see a favorite yet?
