Here is a the bevy of Pinecones that I am currently French Polishing I have fallen into the routine of putting an application of "Polish" on the tops in the morning and setting them out to dry like this, then coming back in four or five hours to put a coat on the backs and sides and turning them over to dry on their faces. That way, I get one coat a day applied and don't smudge up the finish by handling them as I do if I hang them overhead. They are beginning to take on that deep luster that I seek.
