One of the fun features of Bellingham's famous Farmers Market are the buskers. Today I found these two cute girls with their ukuleles doing very well
Would you like to hear them, Nice voices !
Bought a sandwich from Ralf's Bavarian Bakery and headed back to the workshop where I began to make Tentalones for the new tenors.
tubbornly insistent upon making everything possible for my instruments, I make the tentalones using this jig. It is powered by two little rubber bands which slide the boxwood "bolt" pin shaft point into the last cut posiitioning it for the next cut. A little tedious maybe but works like a charm.
The walnut uke is glued and drying in the set up jig in the background while the cocobolo gets tentalones glued to its back side in the foreground. Yes those clamps are old fashioned clothes pins strengthened with a single rubber band wrapped around the business end.
