JOHN WEAVER dropped by Sunday morning to talk a little Ukulele. John bought my 6th tenor build a while back and was interested in "The Blonde" that I just shipped off to Connecticut. we did a bit of jammin on a variety of the ukes hanging in the shop. Take a look at John, his brother and a harmonica playing friend on a Youtube titled "Puamana Snowcones" These guys vacation on Maui every year and play for fun. Last year he tells me they played for drinks at the Lahaina Yacht Club and were good enough that the manager invited them back next year, So if you are in Lahaina next February listen for wild piano, harmonica and ukulele as you walk by the Yacht Club door. Maybe they will let you in if you tell em you know the Uke player. His name is Dr. John.
