Early in the week Keith Palmer and a friend visited the workshop,  Keith is next on the build list and we had  lot of fun choosing the wood for his tenor.  He selected a choice "wildwood" East Indian rosewood back and matching sides with a "bear claw" Sitka spruce soundboard.   Excellent  choices.

That afternoon the FedEx truck dropped off a package from Jon Dale, Jupiter Ukuleles, with this lovely sycamore wood, enough for three tenors.  I had sent him some East Indian Rosewood in trade.

Then Thursday Nik Seifter dropped by to choose his sides from the incredible Fountain District Maple wood he so generously supplied.

Here they are, trimmed to size and thinned, ready to be bent. Hows this for a beautiful set of sides.

Fretboards are now attached to Deb and Delias ukes and Randy and Gary's parts are seen in the background. It has been a fun and busy week which included lots of french polishing and
getting my covid Moderna booster shot. That slowed me down for an afternoon.
