The concerts French Polish is approaching completion. I just put the last application on them tonight before I lightly sand them with wet-dry paper dipped in water with a drop of detergent in it. I will do this with 400 gr. paper to level out any little bumps or problems in the finish coat, Then a few more applications of French Polish, then a few coats of a thinner dilution of shellac, and these babies will really shine.
Then attaching the bridges, drilling holes for strings and I will be stringing them up, I am really eager to hear them sing, I am betting they are going to be good.

These pictures are of "freckles" the one with the lacewood fretboard. I am getting kind of attached to it tho I was a questioning if the lacewood might be too gaudy. I now think it is fun and peppy. (Note, the bridge is just sitting on the top for perspective) it is not properly positioned yet.
