COMPARISONS

I thought it interesting to compare the sizes of the three Pinecones now that I have a tenor under construction.  This photo shows the soprano on the right and its big sister, the concert on the left.  There is about a 20% difference is size and a substantial difference in tone and volume

And here is the concert beside its new and untested big brother, the tenor.  This tenor is hugely larger as I look at it.  I wonder if I made it too large.  I wonder what it will sound like.  I guess that is why it is fun to experiment.  I will begin the French Polish in a day or two and will soon be able to string it up. Apt to be a boomer.
