COME TO FAIRHAVEN and try out one of the benches we installed this morning. They are located by the memorial flagpole across from the Carnegie Library, and in front of Village Books on 11th street.
The happy guy in the blue vest in both of these pictures is John Servais, longtime mover and shaker in Fairhaven. John solicited the funds to refurbish these benches. Sand blasting, powder coating and new and beautiful Ipe wood that should last for decades- thanks John
Here's Doug Starcher with his compressor and roto-hammer drilling the holes for the hold down bolts. This guy has all the tools and all the skills to make this installation a quick and easy job. Thanks Doug.

We started at 9:00 A.M. By 10:23 we were done and admiring our work. Here is left to right, John Servais, Doug Starcher and Brad Imus. Well done boys, you deserve the rest on that lovely bench.
