THE WEATHER has been wacky all over the world. Hawaii not excluded. Rain, temps in the high 60s, cloudy windy days. I am so glad I brought along my wool turtleneck sweater to keep warm on the airplane. It really feels good sitting on the lanae for the daily practice.
The martini helps, and it is a lovely place to play. Dispite the weather we are having a pleasant vacation. This morning we spent an hour and half on the ocean with Maui Paddle Sports doing a paddle on one of their 6 person outrigger canoes. The wind was up, the seas were high but the experience was great. Got fairly close to whales, had a great time.
