Making terrific progress on this build.

All the tone bars are ready to glue onto the finished tops.

Here is a great way to scoop up glue squeezed out from under the tone bars,  A plastic straw cut at an angle so the it has a pointed tip very neatly cleans up the edges.

I got all of the tone bars glued and clamped today.  Tomorrow I will add some veneer supporting patches around the sound hole and up the center seam.

The work table is full.  The sides are ready to bend, the backs now have their braces glued on.  I will be bending sides and carving necks before you know it.

Backs in the Go Bar deck, braces clamped as the glue dries,

How wonderful to view these builds. They are not really ukuleles you know. They are works of art heading into the hmes of some very happy and excited people. Ones who are either quite aware of what they are
receiving or those who don't, but are ready to find out. A path which they will spend many years to come appreciating what they acquired when they did business with Brian Griffin. A master luthier who takes so much pride in putting the finest effort possible into everything he does. Not just his gifted hands but also his heart and soul pour over every aspect of creating some of the finest instruments we will ever own.
