Marya's birthday celebration in Seattle-house guests at home-stringing up several ukes, Been a busy few days
Four great grand children to visit in Seattle, Here is Finn riding the Rocking Bunny I made for his aunt 29 years ago. It has rocked two generations now.
Back home the next day we enjoyed a two day reunion with Casey and his son Cameron. We helped to raise Casey fifty plus years ago, We were working on a walking stick Cam had picked up on Stuart Island. Jointing it so he could get it home on the airplane.
Cam playing a C chord.
Got Kate's concert strung up this morning with UkeLogic low G strings. What a sweet little uke it is.
Bear claw Sitka Spruce soundboard. The tilted saddle resulted in spot on intonation

And a lovely piece of maple. This is not fiddleback nor quilt figure but sort of a combination of both, a really unusual piece of big leaf maple.
While visiting my daughter's Seattle home I enjoyed seeing some of my art work from the days before Lutherie
A French scene that I painted many years ago.

And a Haida design carved into cedar. I got this wonderful cedar 50 years ago and still have enough to make great ukulele soundboards. Glad I did not use it all for carvings.
And the rocking Bunny. I made one of these as Christmas presents for two one year old grand daughters. They are now 30. Time flies but the bunnies still rock.
