It began with cutting the slots around the edges of both instruments that accept the bindings. Always a bit nerve wracking it went well.
Once the slots are cut it is time to bend the bindings. Rick got his first experience in bending on the hot pipe and did fine.
We are using wonderful curly maple binding from Pacific Rim Tonewoods on both these ukes. I got in a bit of bending action too.
With the binding all bent it was time to prepare the tape and glue bottle and get them attached.
And by quitting time we had the bindings on. A fine day of progress.
