I learned my lesson the hard way with a nasty reaction to Cocobolo and other toxic woods. I now wear an inhalator for the simplest of sanding or wood cutting jobs. I haven't had a problem since taking precautions but protect your lungs and your hearing when working in the shop. It will prolong your pleasure.
And what a pleasure it is to bring a new ukulele to this stage, ready to be" boxed up" by attaching the back.
The side sound port is glued in. Once it is faired in the back will go on.
