Today the Bellingham Ukulele Group, better known as BUG, did a gig at the monthly "Brown Bag" event at the Whatcom Museum, The elite Ensemble group, 15 players under the direction of Gail McDonald, performed an excellent thirty minute concert followed by a four song sing-a-long that the audience entered into heartily. We had a very nice audience and had a lot of fun.
I was privileged to M.C. the event and give a little presentation on the history of the uke, the types of ukes and the current Uke popularity that sweeps the earth.
I took video of the entire event and plan to place an edited version on YouTube once I get it edited down.
Sorry about the following series of photos. I had a friend take the pictures and forgot that the camera was set on the "document" setting from shooting that South Coast Strings picture yesterday. Why it does'nt even show my ukulele shirt that I bought from Ukulele Pua Pua in february.
