Dining at the Hearthfire Restaurant in Bellingham brought an amazing sight
a HUGE shark hovered over Zuanich park. After dinner we drove over to get a closer look.
We learned it was made in New Zealand. It is about 20 feet long, amazing, But then we saw the dragon, Even more amazing.
We learned that the shark and the dragon are not true kites. A large white kite flies high above them and they are added to the mother kite string and run up it held aloft by the kite above them. Wonderful display.
Now for the Beauty part of the blog. This is the spalted sycamore I delivered to its new owner yesterday. Adam was very pleased. I was kind of hoping he wouldn't want it, I would have kept it myself.
