I HAVE FINALLY GOTTEN BACK TO WORKING ON UKULELES after quite a few days with grand-daughters graduating from college,  house guests,  historic statue fund-raising and just needing to take a few days out of the workshop.  Today I finished the last of the end piece inlays and the rough sanding of all three ukes.  Now we go forward.

Now they have their end inlays and are all rough sanded.

time to glue on the end cap.  A layer of ebony veneer, a layer of maple veneer and a piece of Honduran

After the glue is set I will carve this down into the base of the hook.  a favorite  part of uke making for me.
