The purchase of the Grizzly Drum Sander has me back into ukulele production. today I was able to thin to proper and installation thickness, the backs sides and soundboards of both the baritone, and the Concert for that guy in Minnesota. Felt great to be back in action.
Here is the baritone back, thinned down and ready for its braces. But first I must glue up the Concert that is on order. The baritone, is not committed so it will take the back seat.
The concert is getting it's braces. This is going to be a pretty instrument. I sanded down the sides and back today and the tiger stripe maple is looking wonderful. Combined with this lovely fine grained Juniper will make an exceptional instrument.
