The next major step in assembling the uke is attaching the bent sides to the sound board.
The sound board is clamped into the assembly jig and ready for the sides .

The bent sides are always too long and must be carefully trimmed to fit.
 trim them on the little band saw  Now for the other side |  Ah ! perfect fit, clamp it to the butt block  Cut it off right here |
 Now put glue on the butt block |  And on the thin bottom edge of the side |

And clamp everything in position.
The final act is to glue the tentalones in to secure the side/top connection. This will be completed later. #177 is well on its way
