#165 got its strings this afternoon and it is a good one. Once again I am impressed with the wood combination of big Leaf Maple and Sitka Spruce. I produces a powerful, loud and rich sounding ukulele- and they sure are pretty. also got a very successful installation on the MiSi pickup.
Been sitting on the porch on this warm night playing it in. What fun, what an excellent ukulele.
Got lots more done today as well. More French Polish on several ukes, butt blocks and sound hole patches on 169 and 170 and more. twas a good day of progress.
