Today I got the East Indian Rosewood connected to the Redwood and a few tentalones glued. Tomorrow more tentalones get installed on this one and I will have the assembly jig available for the last of the three.
Three tenors gobble up a lot of the tentalones. I had to make some more, here is a new supply hot off the bandsaw. I make them of basswood. I will taper these with a sharp exacto knife and sand them smooth before gluing them into the instruments.
Look at the contrast between the extremely dark Brazilian Rosewood and the Englemann Spruce top. This is going to be a striking uke.
