YOU CAN'T BE MAKING UKES ALL THE TIME, and so much of my time is taken up with researching and writing about local history. Last night, as I have for several summers now, I narrated the weekly Summer History Cruise. This is a 2 1/2 hour cruise on the 110 foot Island Caper along the shoreline of Bellingham Bay. I tell folks about the history of Bellingham and the area. It is sponsored by the Whatcom Museum of History and Art and has been a popular event for 29 years now.
