The morning was spent at the Archive, writing and researching for the Donovan book.
The afternoon in the workshop. I finished sanding the tenor up through 400 grit. It looks really good.

Then I turned my attention to "Journey" she only has binding on this side.
By this evening the bindings were complete. They will need a little work with a scraper and sanding block tomorrow and they will look perfect.
Leaving the glued bindings to set up, I turned my attention to the fretboard. It will be Honduran Rosewood, a very hard and dense wood. I think a Concert ukulele wants small fretboard markers so I am putting in some tiny round pieces of Paua abalone. I am not much for bling on my instruments, but have a weak spot for Paua.
These will flash a tiny bit of color in the right light.
