ANOTHER DAY IN THE SALT MINES

Actually a fun and productive day.  The triplets are getting shiny, the new build progressing well.
Picture
Sunlight streaming in the window was lighting them up, showing the pretty grain

Picture
Beginning to shine
Picture
Weights holding down the veneer center seam braces while the glue dries.
Picture
Clamps holding down the carbon fiber neck rod as the epoxy hardens.  Black plastic so the clamps don't get epoxied to the neck.  See the end of the carbon fiber rod?
Picture
Beginning to carve a neck.  Here is how the hook begins.
Picture
One done, second in the vise.  The neck is done with band saw, spoke shave, chisel and rasp.
Picture
Tho still rough carved, they will now be glued to the sound boards and finished when the uke is boxed up.

Those triplets look really nice, Brian. Glad to see you are well during these crazy times.
