I FOUND THIS ON THE BEACH yesterday. A 3 1/2 inch long piece of smooth coral with a perfect hole through it at one end. Is this just a hunk of coral with a hole, or is it an old Polynesian fish net anchor. The hole goes entirely through the piece and is so perfectly round that it looks like a human drilled it.
Artifact or accident it will come home with us in our suitcase.
