I drove to Anacortes today at the invitation of Linda Zielinsky, the group leader.  She needed a bass.  What a fun afternoon, Perhaps thirty people showed up for the Jam that lasted for 1.5 hours.

Here is the talented, enthusiastic and charismatic Linda leading the group in a song

This was just half of the enthusiastic jam participants in the impressive large room of the Anacortes Senior Activity center.  What a lovely venue to play the ukulele.  I think there were about 25 folks there.

This is Kathleen Wolff one of the stalwart Anacortes musicians.  She bought my prototype bass a few months back and brought it along today.  We had a grand time sitting side by side in a duo bass section.  What fun we had.  The jam lasted for an hour and one half.  Promptly at three PM we all left the room and Linda's class of beginners moved in.  It was amazing, there were 26 of them.  The future of Anacortes Ukulele is assured with a turn-out like that.  I snuck back in the room to take this video.  Sorry it is sideways.

what day and time and where do you all meet to play. I live on Orcas but would be willing to come over to play with some people. Thanks
