Here are the two Kasha ukuleles that I am working on.  Both of them are ready to have their side sound ports installed.  The question is, what wood do I use  for the sound port trim.  I need your help on one of them.

This one is easy.  The trim ring of the sound port seen here is the same wood as the neck,  Honduran Mahogany.  It looks right and that is what I will use, however the next one is not so easy.

This ukulele has an Alaska Cedar neck and a Port Orford cedar top, both equally light in color.  which do you prefer. left, middle or right.  Everyone gets a vote, of course my vote is the only one that will count.  I would appreciate your opinion.  By the way, that lovely striped wood is Bocote, brought to me from Mexico by my friend Richardo.  I think it will make a beautiful instrument and expect it to sound good too.
