AH SUCCESS!  The binder slots were cut successfully.  It is always a relief to get past that part of the project.  Now I must bend the binder stock to shape in the bending machine using the heat blanket and stainless steel cover.

You tape the binding together and bend it all at once.  Use the blue tape as it does not gum up from the heat used in the bending.  Here I am holding up the steel sheet so you can see the taped binders, but I am convinced that the steel helps to get a good bend.

Now the binding is bent.  Once I get a little surgery done around the neck, and cut the end design shape in the body I will be ready to glue on the binding.  I am optimistic that I am going to get it perfectly done this time.
