Pam Kiesner, Bellinghams long time library Director, retired today and her friends, myself included, surprized her with a Griffin Concert Pinecone. We disguised the gift as a part of a ukulele lesson. I taught her two chords, C and G7 and then we sang Polly Wolly Doodle together, Then the entire audience sang it with us, and then I was able to tell her that she could keep the ukulele, and that it was a gift from her friends.
