I SPENT A COUPLE of hours in the workshop this morning doing the fine cosmetic work and final rough sanding on two of the three tenors. They are shaping up nicely and now only need sandings at 400 grit and 600 grit to make them ready for finishing. The "Native" needs a bit more attention, perhaps an hours worth and it will be in the same shape. Here is what they look like now.
After lunch I abandoned the workshop and walked down hill to St James Presbyterian Church for a ukulele strumming workshop put on by the Canote Brothers. A really fun and worthwhile workshop followed by a concert at 3;00. These guys are really fun and really good. If you ever get a chance to see them do not fail to go. |
