I JUST GOT AN EMAIL an hour ago from the woman who had committed to buying the Brazilian Rosewood/Redwood uke months ago when I started construction. She regrettibly said she could not buy the uke because of unexpected financial issues. SO ! it is now available. This is a great sounding instrument displaying all of the character and clarity that you would expect from Brazilian Rosewood. Brazilian Rosewood is no longer available in the US and I have no more of it nor do I know where or when I could get some more-so this makes a rather exceptional opportunity for those that want an exceptional instrument. I will charge $900. plus shipping for this tenor. First come first served.
This is an iPhone recording of this tenor and surely does not do it justice. It is a great sounding instrument. It will mature and warm as it is played.
This was an amazingly warm day for November. I worked in the yard for a while until it got too warm, then decided to just sit in the sun and play the Cocobolo Redwood that I had just made a new nut for. Oh my this is a nice sounding tenor, and Oh My it was pleasant sitting on the stone bench in the yard in the sun playing from Richard Sheridan's Classical Music for the Ukulele.
