I FREELY CONFESS, I swiped this idea from Eric Devine's website, But then he probably swiped it from someone else a while back, Sorry Eric but I thought it looked like a great way to glue on binding and purfling and keep excellent control..
It only took about an hour to make this device this afternoon. You see it here with one of the three tenors in it just to try it out. Now for bending the beautiful Australian Blackwood binding for this uke and putting the machine to the ultimate test. I think it is going to work extremely well and will report later. Thanks Eric, Hope you don't mind my swiping your idea. That is, if this is indeed a Devine original.
