Smoke from hundreds of forest fires in the British Columbia interior is pouring down the Fraser River Canyon and polluting our air. But that is not stopping progress in the workshop.
The recently bent Mahogany sides came out of the form press with hardly any spring back. They are ready to install.

The sound board has the neck and butt block attached. It is time for the sides. Lets get out the tenor assembly jig and get those sides on.
first we have to trim each one to the proper length. This is an eyeball process. Hold them up to the jig and guess what needs to be cut off.
It all worked just fine. The glued sides are held down with clamps and I was able to install a substantial length of liner, or tentalones. The sides are secure and fit very well.
Now up to the living room to play in these two lovely Kasha Tenors. I am very pleased with their looks and their sound. They are both available for purchase. Contact me if your are interested in owning a quality instrument.
