Doug's Concert starts with gluing the back together.
The back and sides will be Black Cherry. Today I got it cut to shape
And thinned to its final thickness.
And the soundboard of fine grained Western Red Cedar is selected along with the Cherry side pieces.
And the sides are trimmed to final shape.
