Today the Bellingham Ukulele Group BUG sent it's Community Players group to entertain at the Lynden Senior Center.  We had a fun sing-along with these folks in their lovely facility.

We passed out song books to the audience as they ate lunch, and after lunch the show was on

Here is the gang, except for David Culver who was behind the camera.  Our Director, Linda Henderson is in the forefront with the big smile and the red sweater. Thats me behind with my base, 'Son of Gut Bucket", and then Pat Madsen with his baritone shining in the light,  Well we all had lots of fun and we sounded pretty good too.

Here's Caroline, Bobbie and Linda waiting for the action to begin.
And then this afternoon Marya and I went to the opening of a great new Exhibition at the Whatcom Museum.  "Art of the American West"  you don't want to miss it.  Russells, Remingtons, Clymers,  truly an amazing exhibition of paintings and bronzes of the American West.  and outside the gallery door was an excellent trio, a guitar, a vocalist and a terrific harmonica player.

SO IT WAS A FULL AND FUN DAY.  THINK I'LL HAVE A DRINK AND HIT THE HAY
