A carefully distanced Labor day impromtu concert. Alisha Dauber invited a fine guitarist Walt to her deck and a few friends and neighbors were invited to be the audience far below on the Griffin driveway.
Alisha is a professional singer and Walt a professional musician, I sat behind them with my homemade two string base "Son of Gut Bucket"  and tried to contribute to the sound.  It was great fun to play for an hour with the pro's.
AND THEN THE NEXT DAY A NEW BUILD WAS BEGUN.

Two more tenors got their start today.  A East indian Rosewood/Redwood and a Mahogany /Spruce.  The soundboards had been joined a week ago but today they were sanded to finish thickness and received their sound holes.  There are now three separate builds in progress in the workshop.

First the two Concert Pinecones hanging in the workshop as the latest application of French Polish hardens.  They are almost ready to get their strings and go to their new homes.

Next are the two identical tenors that have just begun the French Polish

And Finally, todays beginning, the two new tenors.

And so at the end of the day, out on the porch on this warm evening, I sat and played my ukulele into the night as the sun went down.
