Yesterday, the day after halloween was my birthday. A fun day it was- with the usual Wednesday afternoon jam in the workshop with Rick, Judy and Chip- and then their spouses arrived at 5:00 along with our fun neighbors the Daubers and the Winters, and we had a party- beer and wine, pizza and salad, lots of music and laughter. I was too busy to take pictures but this is what it looked like before the party
Ukuleles for anyone who wanted to try, Tony Winter played the bass very well.
Pick a ukulele.
Today was a fun and busy one too- Jan and Sue from Portland dropped by on their way to a James Hill seminar event across the border at Harrison Hot Springs. They had a tour of the shop and a look at the new Kasha #100. Jan liked my banjo uke.
I got a lot accomplished today too.
I trimmed the edges of the newly boxed up #101. Sanded the top to 400 grit
Met with Linda, the buyer of #101 as she selected the binding and purfling for her Christmas present. Then I bent the binding.
A busy couple of days- think I will hit the hay!
