Here you see the results of my day in the shop.
1. I got the four Honduran Mahogany necks glued and band sawed to shape.
2. I got the necks for the three tenors sawn into their rough shape, two walnut, one mahog.
3. I sanded six sets of maple sides to .70 ready to bend after sawing to shape.
4. I edge glued two juniper tops, a maple back and a redwood top.
5. thickness sanded a maple back and a juniper top after glue had set.
This gets me a long way into the next build.
Yesterday I mentioned getting perfect almost invisible glue joints by sanding the connecting pieces in the thickness sander. Below is the result.
