Here are the two new Kasha tenors flanking their big sister, #100. I have fallen in love with the rich melodious tones of #100 and am so excited to hear what these new babies will sound like. They are looking wonderful. Today I finished shaping their necks and began the finishing.
They are just in the pore filling stage, but already beginning to show the beauty of their wood. Bocote on the left and Cocobolo on the right.
They each have a side sound port and my customary "hook" at the base of the slim necks. They feel really good in the hands.
I have the feeling both of these tenors are going to be outstanding and I will hate to part with them. It is like selling your children. The soundboard on the left is Port Orford Cedar. On the right, Torrified Spruce from Pacific Rim Tonewoods.
