SORRY! I have fallen behind on blogging. I have sold three ukuleles in the last two days and have been occupied with figuring shipping charges, last minute communications with purchasers, getting packing boxes ready, etc.
One is going to Munich Germany, one is going to Tampa Bay Florida, another to its new home here in Bellingham. The Concert Pinecones are all gone for now, Only two tenors left, and one travel uke. I think my next build cycle will be three traditional concerts. I have come to realise that lots of player, especially women, think tenors are a bit large. I think I will see if I can make a tuneful concert. Interested? I have some lovely Australian Blackwood for backs and sides, I have walnut, koa, flame grain maple, I envision spruce tops and Alaska Cedar necks. They should be lovely. If you want a concert made to your wood choices now is the time to let me know. It is always fun to plan the new ones. They will each be different. Stay tuned.
